To buy or not to buy?

Hello everybody, im considering getting a Nikon DX40,
Does anyone else happen to have one of these...or a similat Nikon (D60-D80?) if so whats it like?

I've read a few reviews online, most seem very positive.
I know its a basic enough entry level slr, but with 10 megapixels, which seems pretty good for an entry level camera.
